It's become fashionable lately for articles in Charedi outlets to declare that much of Modern Orthodoxy is "Chutz LaMachaneh", "outside the camp" for various transgressions like coming out with a revised RCA siddur, or simply tolerating Rabbi Avi Weiss.
I kind of like the term Chutz Lamachaneh (חוץ למחנה). I proudly stand outside the camp of the nonsense that passes for "Torah True" Judaism. However, I already have a blog called The Evolving Jew, and I'm not planning to change the title. Still, I decided to grab this blog name for the future.
